– Stefano Mora –

The band was founded in 2008. After various concerts in music clubs, in February 2009 it works  for a  recording session.. The band’s repertoire consists of original songs written and arranged by Stefano Mora. Many  themes, solos and, of course, bass lines are played by  6-strings bass, fretted or fretless.
The material resulting from the recording session has been published in june 2010 by Accademia Productions, and it is available in the best digital stores. (iTunes, Amazon and many others)I

This band started performing at the beginning of 1990s. The musical choice has always been that of deriving the repertoire from various kinds of music such as jazz, funk, pop and melting them into a unique original sound. The present concert focuses on Italian songs of the last 30 years rearranged in an acoustic way without all the overdubs typical of pop music studio recordings.
The choice of songs stems from the attempt to apply jazz aesthetics and mentality to a repertoire which has got nothing to do with jazz; after all jazz musicians of the past derived their repertoire from musicals and songs reinterpreting them in their unique way.
